Beginner Guide
Your first hour should focus on codes, luck potions, and unlocking the first portal — not chasing S+ rolls. Save premium potions until you understand weather windows.
2. Roll with +1 / +2 Luck first
Use lower luck potions early. After ~200 rolls you unlock Quick Roll — a major F2P speed boost.
3. Equip best units & clear first boss
Equip highest DPS cards, beat the first boss, and unlock the Namek portal chain. Do not waste Boss Potions on starter bosses.
4. Stack weekend boosts
Friday 11 AM – Sunday 11 AM EST: 2x Weather odds and 3x battle speed. Premium + VIP stack potion duration.
5. Plan around weather
When Eclipse, Galaxy, or Manga weather appears, use saved rerolls and +3 Luck — exclusive cards only drop during those windows.

Cards & Rolling
Cards are gacha-style rolls with traits, borders, and damage scaling. Traits come from boss drops; borders benefit from Star Potions.
- Roll speed potions reduce downtime between pulls — prioritize during grind sessions.
- Corrupted Potions grant a large temporary luck spike (ideal inside rare weather).
- Star Potions increase border chance — chase after your core DPS slots are filled.
- Trait rerolls attach to individual cards — target them on S+ keepers only.
Potions & Items
Potions define F2P pacing. Pick them up from ground spawns, codes, quests, battle pass tiers, and crafting.
Luck Potion (+1 / +2 / +3)
Raises roll odds for rare and weather units.
Roll Speed 1–3
Accelerates rolling — pair with Quick Roll unlock.
Corrupted Potion
Short massive luck spike (~50% bonus window).
Star Potion
Boosts border drop rate on rolls.
Boss Potion
Enables boss-card rolls for a timed session.
Weather Reroll
Forces or refreshes weather — save for Eclipse/Galaxy/Manga.
Craft higher luck sticks at the merchant when you farm baseline units.
Premium membership adds luck and +10% potion duration stacking with VIP.
Weather Events
Weather rotates the map aesthetic and gates exclusive cards. Most events last ~3–5 minutes — enter with potions ready.
Common weathers (Rain, Snow, Sand) teach mechanics; rare weathers (Eclipse, Galaxy, Manga) need hoarded rerolls.
Weekend banners double weather odds — schedule grinding accordingly.

Requires upgraded decks; don’t rush without +2 Luck stockpile.
Event / Limited Areas

Bosses & Towers
Towers are your main gear and currency loop. Bosses unlock portals, traits, and crafting mats.
- Replay lower bosses for traits before pushing one-shot attempts on new ones.
- Use Boss Potions only when your deck has at least one S-tier DPS.
- Daily and character quests supply potions — complete them before long roll sessions.
- Ranked mode is planned — stockpile potions for future ELO rewards.
Controls & UI
Anime Card Battle X is menu-driven on all platforms. There are no complex combat keybinds — success comes from UI timing and potion setups.
